Alltid läsvärde Internetspelsexperten Kevin Flood gör i ett nytt inlägg på sin blogg följande pessimistiska prognos för den europeiska onlinemarknaden:
”European Internet Gambling Meltdown – Europe’s Internet gambling market is disintegrating. The decision on the part of each country in the Euro zone to ignore the EU mandate of allowing cross border e-commerce as it relates to Internet gambling has many of the Euro gambling operators scrambling for a way to survive and grow their businesses. Each country in the Euro zone has decided that they want to control Internet gambling in their own country and are driving licencing fees off the chart. Only a few operators will survive.
In respect to social Internet gambling games, such as poker, that dependent on large pools of players to make the economics of social gambling games work it feels like the world is slowly coming to an end. Poker and perhaps Bingo barely work in the new and improved Euro country by country regime. These companies have to look elsewhere for growth. The US freemium gambling option is obvious.”
Har han rätt eller fel?

Tror att det ligger mycket i det han skriver. Spännande att se hur delstaterna i USA löser frågan.
